When it comes to bourbon, there is a lot out there. What is considered bourbon? Bourbon must be a minimum of 51% corn based. The mash must be distilled at no more than 160 proof and the distillate must be stored in new charred oak barrels at 125 proof or less. Bourbon also must not contain any additives at all.

Having a great experience with bourbon; some consider it that the more you pay, the better it is. I am not a believer in this. As many great bourbons are less than $50 (750ml). There is nothing wrong in splugering and having that special occasion bourbon however, if you drink it on the regular, overpaying is simply a waste of money.
This is a 120 proof. It is a strong bourbon that brightens most whisk(e)y cocktails. And is great for simply sipping. When I sip it, I enjoy it with squeeze mandarin and a dash of japanese bitters.
A great daily bourbon. Something that will not break the bank and you can sip on the daily.
This bourbon is known to be bright and floral, yet a tad on the bitter side. Which I like. Though at the price point, on average, Bulleit Bourbon or Old Forester are responsible alternatives. Though, they can be more sweet in nature.
